My drum teacher called me today... he asked me if I could play a gig with his band for him since he's getting a baby that day... and I was like man, I haven't touched my drums for... three years? How long has it been? I said I'm a painter now ö_ö Felt so weird.


Kept thinking about it all the time while painting this... sometimes I feel so... floating, it's so weird, so disconnected from reality, like everybody's living their lives and I'm just... there ö_ö


So here's a chick from imagination... don't know what to say about it other than it's been a while since... everything.

I totally feel that way too. Time passing you by as you are trying to learn as much about art as possible. Everybody is doing things with their lives and going on trips, but I'm just here, in my apartment all the time, trying to be the best I can be. Most people around me can't even tell my improvement because they don't know much about art... So it feels strange sometimes... But all I care about is art, so I cannot stop. Your art is so inspiring to me. I have never seen you on DA before! Your truly amazing. Really makes me see how much work I really have... So much with lighting, perspective, colour. I am a little overwhelmed right now.

it makes me a bit sad how difficult it would be to write you something and have it go through, since you must get so many words each day. anyway, the description from this felt very melancholy. it goes so well with the painting, of course, but it also made me feel something very far inside. i hope you are well, is all i wanted to say. you seem like a good person. (and you are of course very inspiring)
