Thank you very, very much. I am trying to get into more photoshop but making my own brushes continues to elude me... I need to find the right making my own tutorial *laughs*
First let me tell you that I really like your art, you are amazing And secondly I thank you because you do not have a professional attitude to poop on the little one Some professionals react differently to this request "can I have your brush" they answer : it's not professional to ask them My answer too them: is if you're so professional what you're so afraid of ??? Little me ??? NO is just an excuse to not help And for that I thank you that you are not selfish such as they. And thank you for the tutorials and for try too help the little ones )
Hannes is indeed amazing for sharing his brushes, but you can't really blame those professionals for not sharing their brushes. I think it's normal that people don't share their brushes, psd, and the way they paint. Some artists work hard on their own, so it's kind of understandable that they want to keep what they learned as secret. Painting is all about practice, brushes don't guarantee improvement anyway.
Beside, some artists create their own brushes and share among their friends, it might be a brush set they got from someone else so it's not really nice to distribute them.
I'm sorry if any of my words offended you, just wanted to share what I thought. Cheers!
Fully understand what you saying but it is not what I meant, the problem is that for some professionals, beginners are considered as a waste of time, and they forgot from where they started and how they have wanted a little help, and now they believe that if they struggled at the beginning the rest must struggle too (and probably they are a little bit right if you get everything for free there is no more challenge and you become lazy ) I know in every profession are some hidden secrets that you have to learn yourself, but a few can be taught or shared a little help can be given it, As you said "Painting is all about practice, brushes don't guarantee improvement anyway" (and you're absolutely right I learned only with pen and paper my parents could not afford a computer) BUT if the brushes do not help why not share them anyway )) Thanks again Hannes you are to be admired for the little help that he gives too the little ones and who knows maybe others will take his example and they become more gentle and generous Cheers!

It's better to regret the things you've done, than the things you never tried.
