When my friend got a foil of this in a booster pack, I was so jealous. I just stared at the card for 5 minutes at least, pretty much cooing "It's so pretty," over and over. I love that the medal is also the Avacyn symbol and this is one of my favorite cards, just for the art alone.

It's amazing how something a bit unrelated could bring back a memory. When I graduated from basic we had just finished warrior week and were still covered in charcoal from our MOPP gear. My flight and I were the only ones out all the graduates that were not wearing our blues. The sun was low, just like this. We received our coins from the meanest, nastiest TI we had. We couldn't see him well because of the light, but you knew it was him by his silhouette and the way he walked. It was much like this...
