In my years of playing MTG, a Card has never had so much sentimental value. My mom got me into Magic the Gathering, she loved playing the game. When he bought me my first set it was Innistrad, I got the elite inquisitor. A month after she was diagnosed with cancer and I got her deck after she passed. I used her deck in honor of her, during this time I was stressed and distraught. It was this card that won me at a local tournament and to this day I will admit I cannot get rid of this card, after I retired her deck and made my own. Thanks for the awesome art and the card.
(You have made many creature in human deck so far, it's the reason for me to play them though.)
Love the angle.
Love how he has a dart arrow in his mouth. Such a bad ass lol.
Does WOTC specify what theme the art for a set should be? Or does it leave that to artists such as yourself?
Either way, the art direction for Innistrad is just phenomenal.
Great work, Innistrad artists!
Sorry for the comment below i'm in no place to give a crit but well.... the sharp edges of the bowgun feel too sharp for me, it kinda distracts my attention from the focal point 'left handed sword- face-windows'... and it's pointing toward the outsiding down-right leaving side of the picture...well it's the only thing i could think between omg this is awesome omg this is awesome.
Anyway this is great art.
last time I played it with soemone, he had losts of new cards with new effects that I didn't even know O.o
And, come one, magic the gathering, has only great illustrations ^^ ( dubiose Botschaft, verstecktes Kompliment)
weisst du was mich dann aergern wuerde, wenn die edition rauskommt?
das eure werke dann so klein auf den karten drauf sind ;_;
(und ich dauernd verlieren wuerde, weil meine konzentration ausschliesslich auf die bilder gerichtet sein wird)
