Yes, the sword can be used like this, is a style call "Chinesse" at least in Spain we call it like this, well, im pratice martial arts, so i know it.

People who use this style, used to dance with the sword, confusing the enemy...

And, i have something more to say, this picture ROCKS!

die licht-und schattensetzung find ich toll. die details im Gesicht sind auch sehr schön. Hier vermisse ich allerdings ein paar details mehr am rest ihres körpers ^^

und auch dieser Bildtitel erinnert mich an die gute Yoko Kanno xD

this is amazingly cool.

one thing, she looks really really tall. without the foreshortening, she looks like she'd be normal size.
with the foreshortening, she looks freakishly tall.

but the awesomeness of the image is overpowering any kind of comment i could make.

One thing that I like in your stuff is that you aren't afraid of try things and this doesn't block your creativity, like I do all the time with myself. THis is great, you evolved a lot this year man!

Wow, wahnsinnig tolle Farben. Warum komme ich nie auf solche Farbkombiationen? D: grün orange blau, wer hätte gedacht, dass das so gut aussieht.. Also ich find die Pose überhaupt nicht langweilig, sie scheint ja direkt aus dem Bild springen zu wollen. :D Ich würd mein Schwert vielleicht nicht unbedingt so halten, aber es sieht glaubwürdig und sogar anatomisch korrekt aus, deshalb kaufe ich dir das ab. ^^ Dass die Stiefel im Hintergrund heller werden, schaut auch gut aus. Ihre Schultern sind vielleicht etwas breit oder zu nah beim Kopf (wobei das perspektivisch wohl stimmt, also vielleicht doch eher zu breit *grübel*) und ihr Gesicht ist wirklich hübsch, nur habe ich ein bisschen das Gefühl, sie hätte ein ziemlich massives Kinn wenn die Hand nicht davor wäre. Ja so, das wär das was mir grad so auffällt. Alles Details, aber vll. hilft es dir ja :) insgesamt gefällt mir das Bild wahnsinnig gut (mensch, wenn du noch viel üben sollst, was soll ich denn sagen? :()

Das sieht einfach cool aus! XD
So voluminös das Kleid auch wirkt, die Stoffstruktur finde ich grandios. Da steckt wirklich Textur drin!
Ihr Gesicht ist auch toll, so schön detailliert ausgeführt und auch noch recht ausdrucksstark.

Ihr oberer Arm wirkt sehr sehnig... Ein kleines bisschen mehr geglättete Haut (muskulös kann es ja ruhig trotzdem sein, besonders wegen des schwertes!) wäre vielleicht schöner. Und ihr Handgelenk müsste ziemlich gedehnt sein in der Pose. x_X
Aber ansonsten... Das blaue Leuchten im Hintergrund passt auch gut. ^^
