I was really depressed about a year ago, hated the way I looked and never thought I'd get the physique I wanted. But then I decided that wishing it would happen wouldn't mean it would happen, so I got off my ass, took control and fixed up my life. Now I'm doing weight training at least an hour a day, 5 days a week, plus cardio a few days a week. And of course my diet has completely changed and I hardly touch fried and sugary foods, don't even want to.
I love it, and I feel amazing, and I'm now a much happier and optimistic person
Now I just have to trade all my time spent watching TV, and replace it with painting! And after changing my lifestyle this past year, I know anything is possible if I put my mind to it
Yes! Anything is possible, you just have to try to remain positive, keep positive influences in your life and focus your energy on getting better! I hope you achieve everything YOU want in life and more!
I live downhill and every morning I take my bike and bike up that damned hill. Its fun to bike past those that push their bikes all the way up there. I'm utterly broken by the time i arrive at the uni but in the evenings I practically fly home
I'm to poor for the bus and not allowed to drive a car so I use that bike for absolutely everything. Trips to town, the hospital, supermarket and friends. Rain, snow or extreme colds don't matter. I just take the bike
I am not. My metabolism doesn't help jack ass! Currently I lost 2 sizes on my pants, but whenever I go home and have actual food to eat and not sandwiches and starving myself for most of the day, the fat comes back to haunt me. I can't loose weight even if I tried really really hard, so I would have to say no! I put my cells to other uses like: drawing, writing, learning... intellectual things.
Too much on my part to be honest, I got something almost every day of the week. Mondays are strength and sword training, tuesdays and thursdays are ju-jutsu and sundays are for more sword training (which is usually for 2 hours in 10kg extra weight due to chainmail) *flail*
I load at least 500+ boxes a day for over 4 hours into FedEx vans ranging from 5 - 200 lbs (mostly 50 lbs), constantly walking back and forth lifting from the ground to over my head. I would say I was fairly physically active.
used to workout almost daily. Now that I'm getting more serious at art I've really slowed down to almost nothing but using my bike to get around. It's sad, but I dunno... sacrifices have to be made sometimes
I see myself exercising later on in life though.... hopefully....
So I am a biochemsitsry student, and I seem to have eternal work to do.
I try and to kettlebell weights fr 5-10 mins, 2-3 times a week and I try to go jogging maybe 1/2-1 hour, 2-3 times a week.
light schedule, but i love to work out, especially running, it clears my mind, and I don't run at a fast pase. But generally after im done with biochem, I really just pass out, I have no energy for that. I also, really want to try Brazilian Jiujitsu(kinda a UFC nut in denial lol), but keep putting it off. I hate the 1st world, oh I have no time because I'm always 'busy' excuse, but I always use it.
I'm really active umm I go to the gym 3 times a week and I workout there for about 1.20 hrs (I spend more time there but only working out that's about 1.20 hrs xD). Then I play volleyball 2 times a week which is not really that intense just when my coach is in the mood and then I'm alwayson the go with my bike bcs I don't have a drivers license and stuff. So I'm riding to school , gym and in sometimes to the volleyball training.. sometimes it's too much and I can't handle it with school stuff or I'm just rlly exhausted so I skip gym sometimes and make it a rest day <3
well I have some health problems so I cannot afford sports or doing lots of exercise... anyway, I do a special exercise set to prevent my problems from progress everyday (30 min) and I go to swimming pool twice a week (1 hr per session). so about 5,5 hrs of exercise every week.
Yes/rarely. Idk, I'm genetically inclined to be sexy without trying. Lately though, I have been trying, and my exercise has gone to maybe an hour a week? I've been crazy busy (actually I just don't know what I'm doing). Disgusting, I know.
this is a pretty interesting poll. i somehow ended up with art and gymnastics as my two main gigs.... college gymnast, 18-20 hours/week pretty much year round for the last 10 years. as far as ive seen so far i am a unique creature
I have heavy workout sessions that last an hour for four days of the week and then a two hour practice of ultimate frisbee on Monday, and then bike riding, hiking, or running for the weekend. So more than 8 hours.
